Each year, in the United States, on average 36,000 people die from flu-related complications and more than 200,000 people are hospitalized from flu-related causes. Of those hospitalized, 20,000 are children younger than 5 years old. Over 90% of deaths and about 60 percent of hospitalization occur in people older than 65. Health officials continue to report mild cases of swine flu throughout the United States and worldwide. Among the hundreds of confirmed infections, 53 people have died, including 48 in Mexico, three in the United States, one in Canada and one in Costa Rica as of April 9, 2009.

The CDC and World Health Organization are watching H1N1 very closely for signs of transmutations; especially since it has seeded itself throughout the globe, and has already proven its ability to cross-over the human population boundaries.

The number of dead are currently a minimal ratio now, but who can see the future?

This could become a 'Black Death' plague, if certain circumstances and time-limits are met!

Perhaps this is not the 'one', however, it is a matter of pure logic and the mathematical statistical odds declare ----

Thanks Robert and I totally agree with your post above. How much more dangerous and potentially fatal are future viruses going to be? We can take every precaution in the book but if the person sitting next to you on a bus or plane doesn't bother we could be in big trouble.

There is something extremely intriguing going on out there!

Seems that the "Swine Flu H1N1 Influenza Susceptibility has been positively linked to common levels of Arsenic exposure in the diet", see the ScienceDaily (May 21, 2009) article. We know that arsenic is being fed to poultry and pigs on a huge scale, and how that arsenic is distributed, and recycled through the food chain. Why is it, you would reason that the "Mainstream Media" will not touch this story? Why should not the consumers be made aware of how to reduce their susceptibility to this Pandemic? Is this Agribusiness manipulating the media? or is it that their advertisers are controlling the Media's agenda?

I hope people realize that the World health organization is funded by the pharmaceutical industries who stand to profit on the vaccines which by the way are virtually useless against this flu.

I KEEP HEARING ABOUT US CITIZENS BEING FORCED TO TAKE THE H1N1 VACCINE AND THEN MADE TO WEAR SOME KIND OF TRACKING BRACELET. IF YOU REFUSE TO COMPLY THEN OF TO A DETINTION CAMP. HAS ANYONE ELSE HEARD OF THIS OUTRAGEOUS PLAN? IF SO GIVE ME SOURCES SO I CAN VERIFY FOR MYSELF.
