Sad that this legacy has passed on... he made some mistakes, but one must not look to those, but to some of the good that he did

I think he had very large shoes to fill his entire life. he did make mistakes but he was one person who could get people to come together right or left. This to me is amazing in itself since nowadays all the two sides do is fight and argue and belittle one another.
May he rest in peace.

Just was watching the burial and taping it...he will be buried close to his brother Bobby.

To me growing up with the Kennedy's (6th grade with JFK died, and actually have a black & white photo of JFK someplace, hope I find it) is to me like the end of a great time in life...Sorry, can't express my true feelings, so totally sad.

Loved Bobby, and found out about his death while in typing class as a sophmore in high school, in fact, still had the newspaper in my 1967 Cougar and had finally tossed it out, what a mistake that was!!!

All of these Kennedy's had their faults, but they were truly great MEN in my eyes and being a strong Replublican I would of voted for Bobby if he would of lived and I was old enough to do so.

Teddy, had to shoulder a TON of problems with everything that was put on him, and frankly, in my humble opinion he did such a terrific job, he will be so much missed, (sorry tears falling) he was quite the guy and brought all of the political parties together for the greater good.

Reading the article and being so Jaded as a true Conservative, I do have TO SAY, that Teddy Kennedy to me was one of the great ones!!!! In fact, to me when he was ill with brain cancer, he still got out there and did the fight of his life....sorry, getting goosebumps, happens when I get passionate about something.

He plodded through everything and got things done, he did have his mistakes in life, but he also had such great presence and did so many great things.

Teddy, you dear man will be missed truly, now you are with your brothers who through no fault of theirs didn't have a chance to make their mark quite the way you did..

Like his record...YEP, I do...Wish we have more like him, sadly I truly fear we will not.

What a guy...what humor, what fun, what a life he had. So much sorrow, so much pain, but still this guy kept on pushing...More goosebumps, wish we had more special people like this and I personally will truly miss him greatly....loved the fact, that he came out - even with brain cancer to the Democratic Convention for his beliefs, What a Guy!!!!

Just my humble opinion on this Man...
