When Jim Hansen and other leading climate scientists looked at phenomena like the Arctic ice melt of the last two summers, they produced new data demonstrating that 350ppm has now become the bottom line!

Mankind should have a revelation now, and we should stop walking around with a veil over our heads... and a concentrated effort must be made now to stop

Thank You Chaz Gaily, and anyone else who is willing to realize our current precarious position on the edge of a climate disaster!

Now all they have to do is get Mother Nature to cooperate, unfortunately that is not likely to happen. Human contributions to the level of greenhouse gases is insignificant compared to the amount Mother Nature's volcanoes alone pump into the atmosphere on a daily basis. Reduce human pollution of our atmosphere, YES, but how arrogant of these people to think they can control Mother Nature.

Mother Earth needs our help to clean up 'our mess'.

We need 'real' organized 'change' to clean up the air now, but some would rather continue to ostrich the effort in vain!

"Human contributions to the level of greenhouse gases is insignificant compared to the amount Mother Nature's volcanoes alone pump into the atmosphere on a daily basis."

That is simply an outright falsehood, unless you think that a volcano erupts every single day somewhere in the world! HELL NO! Millions of gas burning vehicles and airplanes, plus thousands of fossil fuel burning power plants operating constantly makes for a awful lot of CO2! Volcanoes erupt only occationally. BTW, the CO2 readings at Mauna Loa, the volcano at Hawaii, from the 1950s to today, do not fluctuate greatly to indicate CO2 emissions when it erupts, disproving your claim.

CO2 doesn't matter to climate. If it did, we wouldn't be getting cooler....

New Ice Age could be coming

"Earth could soon be entering a new Ice Age, according to scientists at Oregon State University and other institutions, in a study to b e released this week by Science magazine.

“Sometime around now, scientists say, the Earth should be changing from a long interglacial period that has lasted the past 10,000 years and shifting back towards conditions that will ultimately lead to another ice age - unless some other forces stop or slow it,” states a release from Oregon State University.

The Science study refutes claims by some scientists that carbon dioxide was an important factor in ending the last ice Age. It concludes that wobbles in Earth’s rotation first led global ice levels “to reach their peak about 26,000 years ago, stabilize for 7,000 years and then begin melting 19,000 years ago, eventually bringing to an end the last ice age.

“The melting was first caused by more solar radiation, not changes in carbon dioxide levels or ocean temperatures, as some scientists have suggested in recent years.”

Gov. Crist of FL calls me the climate control lady so that we feed the birds w/seeds & give them water in our fountain so they can take a bath or drink water so they will make the climate pure. GE Windpower should be in every state to overcome global warming & solar panels shoudl be in every state too so that houses can be cool normally & water in pools are warm.

Come on Dale, do the math. CO2 from all sources is only 0.038% and the human share of that 0.038% is around 0.06% meaning that Mother Nature contributes 99.94% of that 0.038% which makes the human contribution 0.00228%. Count out one hundred grains of sand and smash the one hundredth grain and push two thirds of it into the pile with the other ninety nine. Now pull a single speck out of the one third that is left and smash it. You will need a microscope to separate out the portion that would represent the human contribution. That is how BIG our atmosphere is compared to human influences on it.

Volcanoes emit CO2 and other pollutants continuously as long as they remain active; they don't have to have a catastrophic eruption, but when they do they pump huge amounts of pollutants into the atmosphere.

"the volcano at Hawaii, from the 1950s to today, do not fluctuate greatly"

What that says is the CO2 does not fluctuate; it does not say that there isn't any CO2 emissions. What that says is that volcano has been spitting out CO2 for 59 years.

The point that Judy made about cool temperatures and the possibility of a pending ice age points out the fact that CO2 is not a greenhouse gas because the CO2 levels have continued to increase but temperatures leveled off in 1998 and began dropping in the last two years despite the ever increasing levels of CO2. CO2 is a result of global warming, not a cause.

Sir Knight,Mankind has once again began to do scientific madness and destroy all life here just as they did in Atlantis, now the HAARP experiment with wheather set up in Alaska is being used now just as it was used in Katrina, etc. It is time for an awakening of all heart chakras on our precious Earth Mother, visit us to watch the video" We are all One" on www.ghostdancers.org
