Oh Dear, Is Time Speeding Up?

Since the fabric of space/time is known to be expanding and accelerating, then the force lines of time are stretching, causing time to accelerate. If we could measure this change with a ruler, and since that ruler is changing also, we would see no change!

Several unofficial polls across all age groups are persisting to agree with:

Time Is Speeding Up!

Food For Thought.

FEED YOUR HEAD!!!

Thank you, SirRobert!

This subject is near and dear to my heart. Actually, I am currently doing research on what is time and why time is important in our universe. I will be spending a lot of great hours in the forum.

The most haunting enigma that physicists have always faced, even to this day is in regard to the 'Arrow of Time'.

Why does time entropy run in only one direction, and from an organized state toward a more disorganized state, then into complete chaos of molecular breakdown?

What laws of nature being established from the Big Bang could cause the Arrow of Time to become absolute and stabilized?

Got it Sir Knight...

Well, this one is near and dear to me since I have gotten past the 55 speed of light!!!

Of course, time is flying by and there is no doubt in my mind that people can't do anything about that.

If I got this one right...and I hope reading the article I did!

When you are younger, you always want time to speed up, when you get older it goes at Mach One speed and you have no choice but to only keep up.

What's is with all of those old stories about the famous "Time Machine", I bet you anything you know all about that...

Frankly, in my, albeit, humble opinion, I think, our time is quickly running out, no amount of freezing etc. will help in this one...

My ex-husband went to MIT and was a true believer of the "Big Bang" theory, always looking up into the sky, (frankly I wish he would of gotton up there with the stars before I left), sorry, now again, I am smiling at that thought!!!

Don't think anyone can do anything about TIME or what it does...no amount of Sigmund can help that in my mind.

Please let me know your ideas, I truly value them, thanks for resending this one...

Totally Cool!!!Think my head has already fallen off its rocker myself!!!

Alice found the time experiment of the 'Red Queen's Race' through the looking glass --- where they had to run faster and faster (acceleration), just for them to stay in the same place!

This analogy has been applied to the Nuclear Arms Race, Biological Immune Systems & Evolution, and the economy --- or toward any system that must constantly improve and accelerate countermeasures, in order to just barely stay the same.

The 'Red Queen's Race' can definitely be applied to the cyberattacks occuring on Facebook, Twitter, Care2 C2NN, Google and the many others!

They must run at least twice as fast, in order just to stay the same --- rendering public service --- at least as long as possible.

I have been having Personal Messaging difficulty ----

So can anyone forward this for me???

Thank you a million green stars if you can!!!

Wow! What great ideas! Yes, time's passing seems to vary with perception, but I swear that I've been running in the Red Queen's for a long time! What fun to hop dow the rabbit hole with this!

Thank you Marilyn, because we are experiencing several serious computer glitches since yesterday!!!

Concerning the passage of time: At first I thought it was age related perception, then I started asking different people, then different age groups, and the reply kept persisting to come back as:

"No, it's not just you, it's most everyone noticing time is speeding up!!!"

Actually, if a "young" teen was to see this they would say time wasn't going fast enough for them...

Think it is only people that start to work, get involved and out or college that start to think they don't have enough time...and justly we DON'T have enough time...

Yep, Messages are being a problem with me and I truly hope the forward went through on this one, I did tell my 86 yr. old mother, there is one person who truly puts my brain to a test with the articles and news...you truly work my brain over and I am so thankful for that...

I have to say no matter how much I am slowing down, time is certainly speeding up! When I could "hardly wait" to turn 16 my grandfather said "you are wishing your life away". Now I know what he meant!
