I am constantly receiving anti-trojan/virus alerts and updates ---

ALL THE TIME!

Does anyone else see an obvious trend running here???

Are we prepared for a major cyberwar event?

I don't even think so in the very slightest!

Social networking sites such as MYSPACE, FACEBOOK, TWITTER, CARE2, and even GOOGLE itself are being cyber-hacked on an hourly basis.

I cannot even imagine how these sites continue to operate and produce anything of a positive nature; except that it is a constant technician cyber-battle!

Too much is being accomplished in the net and those who have the most to lose don't like it -that's why CARE2 got hit so much a little while ago-it was that tug of war we had going over seal hunting. There was a cyber tug of war going on here too. During that time I was hit by no less than about 8 viruses a day-my AVAST was going off constantly!

Thanks for bringing this issue to light. Every Morning I get something from AntiVirus stating an Intruder tried to attack your computer & it was blocked. I have had 2 make it Thur & one time while I was on Care2 & costed me $350.00 from Dell to get Virus off. Also one of my groups I go too will say an attack was blocked. This is never going to STOP it's just going to get worse. Thanks

Sir Robert, the Fifth Knight ~ I can't thank you enough my dear sir for this news article. Totally noted.

I have been trying to tell people, actually warn them & Care2 about the viruses on Facebook, Twitter, MySpace for months.

I wrote an article here at Care2 last year on the "Koobface" virus on Facebook & MySpace (even received a golden note} to warn others about these type of sites.

I also posted in Care2 Feedback & Suggestions group, the topic is called:
"Too many bugs on this site", check it out people ~ you see, I am not the only one that it's happening to.

So, once again ~ thank you Sir Robert for bringing this into the open forum, maybe now people will start listening.

It seems that things are array to much lately on this site, and I seem to think it's because Care2 connected with "Facebook" ever since then, people have been having more problems here than ever.

This is my opinion only ~
