Many people are just now realizing that most of the Radical Islamic leadership have attended U.S. universities in the West, and once learning America's weaknesses, these same students then arose inside Traditional Islam to impose conversion toward terror!

Since there are an unknown number of Jihadist terror-cells operating inside the United States, now would be a good time to learn how to tell the difference between the radical cult (Jihad), from the safe traditional order.

Attacking Traditional Islam Is 'Not' Justified!!!

Thank you Sir Robert.

Actually, these Western-educated Jihadists deserve some pity for the future fate: should their goal be realized, they will fall the first victims of less educated zealots. Lots of idealists committed French and Russians revolutions just be to be the ones killed for their "ideological" treason a few years later.

Thank you for posting.

Maybe they came from Saudi Arabia - this is the country responsible for what you would call 'radical Islam'. Yet it is feted by the US of A and hosts a US military base - which supposedly was the reason for Osama bin Laden's (Saudi) anger at the US. Nothing is simple is it? The occupation right now by the US of Muslim countries must help the cause of radical Muslims. Yet Muslims by and large are peace-loving people. Perhaps if the US withdrew from Afghanistan and Iraq the possibility of peaceful co-existence would be enhanced. To target Muslims in the US as being possible terrorists isn't going to help anybody unless you actually want to have them rounded up and put in concentration camps (maybe Guantanamo with gas showers) and have an ultimate solution. This is where this kind of talk is leading.

Public discussion, debate, and by getting involved might just stop the worst from happening 'again'!

At the very least, just become aware.

This articles' sole purpose is to reach out to those who are 'not' aware, and who would retaliate against innocent Traditional Islam Mosques and their followers; in the event of another successful U.S. terrorist attack.

Now is the time to learn, and make the difference!!!

let's all look at the whole picture and not focus on some religious people before saying we should ban or hurt any person because of their religion or their believes.i think that we saw a heard in the news and in person a different religious people who attacked the united states of America schools and you all know that it was not a MUSLIM and it is just a kid who used to play a lot of shooting games and from what he saw in the news about murdering people just because they are MUSLIMS for believing in peace and not terror.every culture got the good and bad religious people who they think that violence is the only way.i even know some people who still think that marrying from black people are an action of terror and they can even kill the black person and stuff like that,so we should first consider this> before judging other culture or pupils we should first read and meet a lot of their community and hear their believes and thoughts and try to reach out to what they want to say.

So much of this is born out of hate and fears... fears that one will rule over the other and that they will looose theur identity.. what is needed is a culture of understanding, acceptance, and respect for each others cultures and religions.. agreed Patricia... paradise, they'd soon be tired of having those seven virgins for eternity...

The Muslim people who have come into my life because I just happened to learn about the dreadful injustices meted out to them in my country have enhanced my life. There is no bitterness against anyone - either the brutes who are in control of their own countries or the brutes who rule mine. I can say that I stand in awe of them because of their simple humanity. They follow the five pillars of Islam unlike the rulers of Algeria or Libya or Morocco or Tunisia who caused them to flee. They live their religion and they do their best for others despite what has been done to them and they are my friends even though I do not believe in any god. I have met no professing Christian who would have the right to lick their boots. Tired of having the seven virgins for eternity? To me this is an insult to some of the finest people on this earth. I hope that one day you may meet Muslims, enjoy their friendship and hospitality and generosity. They do not deserve their vile governments and they do not deserve the vicious treatment they receive when they flee to what they believed was a decent country. I hope no more of them will be deluded ever into coming to the UK to seek asylum because they won't find it - they will find that they can so easily be branded as terrorists because they happen to have been dissidents in their own countries. This is my experience of the finest people I have been privileged to know. Decent, ordinary people with lovely ordinary families who are being driven out of their minds. It shames me and it shames this dreadful country called the UK.

Eleanor, I did met professing Christians who deserve much more rights that to lick somebody's boots. After all, don't forget that Muslims come to Christian UK to seek asulym, and not the other way.

You are right about moderate Muslims, but it doesn't give you a right to denigrate all the other moderates. These very same moderate Muslims are often disgusted by what they hear in some mosques and just don't go there. This was exactly Sir Robert point.

The UK is not Christian because a tiny minority here attend Christian churches. It is still undeservedly regarded as a bastion of human rights. It professes to be so but it is far from it. Tony Blair and Gordon Brown profess to be Christian yet they unleash terror on innocent and helpless people. I have not met any Christian who believes they are wrong. There may be decent Christians somewhere but I have not met them. I was speaking of my experience and that unfortunately is it. When I say I have met no professing Christian who would have the right to lick my Muslim friends' boots, I mean it. I am speaking from my own experience quite simply and I did not say otherwise. Other people may know decent professing Christians, I just don't.

UK is Christian because it is built on Christian traditions, which developed over time. The state holidays are Christian and majority of population will still identify themselves as Christians, even if they don't attend churches on a regular basis. The Judeo-Christian formula "Love your neighbour" and the concept of equality is the foundation of all modern democracies: Not to mutilate a thief, but isolate and educate, and forgive.

Try meeting more professing Christians, and I am sure you will find plenty of decent people.

I agree with every one of Eleanor's statements. When I lived in the UK in the 1970's my dearest friends were from Pakistan. Israel has driven some of its adherents to violence because of the 40 years occupation of Palestine and the brutality with which they carry it out.

You may think what you want, Betsy, but plenty of non-Jewish people, including ones from Muslim countries, are seeking refugee status in Israel, so they think differently. I trust them more.

If you term Israeli - Palestine conflict brutal, how do you term all the other conflicts, where the number of victims is measured hundres or thousands time more?

I meet professing Christians every day of my life. It is not that I am not exposed to them. People profess Christianity but do not live by it. Anyone who condones killing is not a true Christian. Read the New Testament. I was brought up in the Christian religion and one of the things I was taught was to do unto others as I would wish they would do unto me. Dropping bombs on people I did not ever think would come into it. And as any other person brought up with the bible will know, it was not just the New Testament we were taught but also the Old and what I remember very clearly are the Ten Commandments - and the most relevant today for me is the one which says 'Thou shalt not kill'. Thank you, Betsy. In my country, Scotland, there are a lot of people of Pakistani descent and they are quiet, peace-loving people. Sleeping Beauty, in my view there is no justification for killing anyone. The Christians I know do not agree. Where in the New Testament does it say that killing people, men, women and children is justifiable under any circumstances?

Betsy, I love you with all my heart. If you are a Christian, you are a true one. No matter what your religious beliefs may be, you are a thoroughly decent and kind human being. You make the world a better place. And regarding the Israelis, maybe they should go read the Ten Commandments. 'Thou shalt not kill'.

i have closed ones who have experienced watching people get hanged on the main square because they either stole something or simply drank alcohol. this dear person as a child when he saw this and doesn't seem to forget. he was a foreigner in an arab country back then.
i have seen gangsters with the cross hanging by their neck yet they carry guns and do blind shootings.
none of them make sense to me. both seem to be insecure, eithter of each other or their actual self looking for someone to blame "you wanted to kill me, you!"
it doesn't make much sense criticizing anyone - this is the root of many disputes. what's the point? to win something like the key of truth or what?
we're just humans constantly learning with an immense need to communicate properly.

Too bad, Westerners are history ignoramuses when it comes to Islam, setting them up for the "religion of peace" b.s.

Never fear, I've set up a great Quick History of Islam for History Ignoramuses page, with links so you can check my facts and don't have to take my word for anything. Check it out and tell your friends, they won't get this education in school.
