OMG! - They are throwing more of 'our' money at the problem!

Throughout history, kingdoms that threw desperate money at the problem were receiving a sure sign of imminent defeat by other approaching kingdoms, that smelled fresh blood in the water!

Our only hope is that the world has become a more civilized place!

WHere's this money coming from?
I bet if we took back some of the money corporations like AIG are spending on things like luxury hunting retreats and cruises for execs, it would help

OK, so is Obama going to be left with Bush's HUGE credit bill?

Richelle R; Yes, not only does he inherit Bush's amazing credit bill, but he also receives his roll-over frequent flyer miles as well!

Please make sure your trays are in their upright and closed position -- It's going to be a 'hard-times' landing!!!

Judith...That's the intent of the RepubliCON$...to leave a mess in their wake. Incompetent, immoral, irresponsible, untrustworthy, greedy, corrupt and murderous, the neocons have left their mark on America and the world...and we should never forget what they have done.

Obama is a very intelligent, insightful, creative and resourceful man. It is entirely possible that he can make a profound dent in this mess where we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. He already said he knows he cannot solve our problem in one or even two terms. The mess is too great. But he can make a difference and set the stage for the next person we elect. The AUDACITY OF HOPE and initiating A CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN is Obama's platform.

In 1991, a 3rd year law student addressed a high school on 'idealism and action.' One of the students wrote that throughout his speech, this law student emphasized that "change is possible." The core of this speaker's ideas was that "as this nation comes out of the conservative, money-hungry and cynical atmosphere of the eighties, it needs the idealism of a socially conscious generation coupled with actions to fulfill idealistic goals..."

That law student speaker was Barack Obama. His platform hasn't changed. He has merely expanded on it to meet today's challenges. As Colin Powell and Zbigniew Brzezinski have both said, he is the best person to lead us during this particular time in America's history.
