We hear often of tragic stories involving children. Parents killing their own kids, judges condemning children to jail to fill illegal quotas and get kickbacks from private prisons, abductions, a little boy of 11 tried as an adult, molestations, and in some countries, children are executed.

Children in the 21st century have many pressures. Some kids go into therapy when they have been through trauma. WHEN THE POOR LITTLE THINGS GO INTO THERAPY, IT'S THEIR DOCTORS' TURN TO ABUSE THEM WITH ILLEGAL DRUG PRESCRIPTIONS!

I tell you, friends, it seems that psychiatric patients are eligible for dogging out no matter how young they are. I am happy to report that this criminal conduct by childrens' psychiatrists is being investigated.

noted, however, even if it is legal, children, teens, men and women are being DRUGGED for the sake of big pharma, many DO NOT NEED IT, or can use alternatives. the extemelyu high rate of pschyatric drugging, was out of control a long time ago. Antidepressants given out like candy, and other drugs to kids for adhd many not needed and misdigosed,

Sadly, I was a victim of off-label prescribing. A psychiatrist put me on Zoloft without ever even speaking to me! But I was 12, so what could I do? My parents allowed it. I was entered into a "hospital" (without that psychiatrist speaking to me) where EVERY patient was automatically given Zoloft. It still makes me angry that it happened to me, but it is an absolute outrage that it continues to happen!

This is a mean world. Corruption is rampant. We all do our part at Care2 to try to make things better. We post news about our concersn, comment on each others' news, and give practical help and advice where we can. We work hard at this -- it is no hobby for many of us. We CARE, and it is darn lucky we have Care2 to make it possible for us to have a voice about such things as these psychiatrists medicating children with off-label drugs.

Thank you, Care2 Friends and Care2 News. We pushed this news to Front Page. I believe that shows our lawmakers that we are very concerned about these children. Many people CARE about the treatment of those who are deemed to have mental health problems, especially little ones.

a whop on the behind settled down a lot of kids in my classes growing up, but not allowed to do that anymore, in school or in the home, so, they dope them up. and so many doctors have admitted to selling placebos in their careers, how often do people pay big bucks for sugar pills? it's all about the money, no matter what the cost, and some of these kids are so screwed up from these pills they never know who they really are. imagine what all the drugs like Ritalin did to our young ones, it's like taking meth, for years! during those developmental years, yet, dear God, and we wonder why so many end up in prison, it's on the rise and will continue. too sad for our youth, too many lives over before they get to begin.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It is pretty disgusting when the people parents trust to help their children abuse that trust and potentially hurt children. Psychiatry is not cheap - no health care is. But these doctors probably want to be paid twice - by the patients and the drug companies.

The doctors are to be pitied. The Bible says it is better to tie a stone weight around your ankles and throw yourself into the sea than to hurt one of His little ones. However, it does not take religion for anyone to see how wrong the doctors are. My friends who are atheists and agnostics have principles. These doctors have none.

I am so happy their conduct is subject to a federal probe, and I only hope they have not given these children anything addictive!

I've had a theory for years:
The government is intent on drugging us all,
and/or making us sick. Those of you familiar
with "chemtrails" will know of what I speak.
Shoving Ritalin down the throats of as many
children as possible is definitely a part of
this. It's all about control. If the population
is drugged and/or sick and disabled, they will
be ever-so much easier to enslave. It reminds
me of an old quote:
"There are none so hopelessly enslaved as those
who falsely believe they are free".

I know first-hand, as I have said before, the dangers of Psychiatric Drugs. However, Tim...with all due respect...it is not a government conspiracy. It is Big Pharma teaming up with Psychiatrists.

As I said, it's only a theory I've had,
and it's probably full of hot air. But
still, there are way-too many Americans
who are on psychiatric drugs, myself included.
I've been diagnosed with severe depressive disorder,
and the doc has me on 100 mgs. of Zoloft a day.
Too many Americans are getting sick with all manner
of strange and exotic diseases, and I just don't happen
to believe in coincidences.

In the article, it says that the scheme is being investigated by federal officers. I do not think government is a part of this particular plot.

Many times, when we say "government," we must keep in mind that like any other large concern, there are a few dogs who got inside. America continues to the the best government in the world that I know about, because of our Constitution and Bill of Rights.

However, lots of dogs go in and just about took over. There is a concentration of people in the Executive Branch and Judicial Branch who do not believe in the Constitution, and they do not enforce its protections. That is the problem area. Enforcement of citizens' civil rights is sorely lacking.

I read that they are trying to get approval to resume testing drugs on prison inmates, so watch out!

The bad thing is that our mentally ill citizens are now in prisons instead of hospitals. They were "saved" from hospitals in the 60's and 70's.

MENTALLY ILL INMATES MAY SOON BE ALLOWED TO SIGN RELEASES TO BE USED AS TEST RATS FOR DRUG COMPANIES.

Maybe that is part of the reason why so many are there in prison.
