Memphis, TN - A Shelby County Sheriff's deputy was suspended Monday. Investigators said the deputy told one story about how a suspect died over the weekend, but apparently the deputy's dash cam video showed something different. Now a witness is talking.

Hi, Mary good to hear from you! This is a terrible situation. I know that the less people know about you in prison the better! Which is so sad,because this even includes the doctors and therapist they are there to collect information not to help! So so SAD what has this country come too?

Something is very, very wrong with the Memphis Police Department!!! That deputy shouldn't of been suspended WITH PAY. Hopefully now, at long last, something can be done about the police department, and the Cochran Firm, in the name of your brother, and all the others who suffered from an uncaring system. Thank you, Linda and Kathy! I thank God for Care2 giving us an avenue to share news of importance to promoting justice in America. This is Independence Day weekend, and we know that our nation's ideals of freedom and justice can only survive if citizens are informed and vigilant. That is why our nation's founders made freedom of the press a mandate in the U.S. Constitution. It is sad that mainstream media blocks out the story of my brother's wrongful death and The Cochran Firm fraud -- it makes me wonder how many other events are being censored. Thank you, Care2! Happy Independence Day, America!
