Amazing pictures of wolves

All photos of Wolves are amazing. This one makes the wolf seem to be mean and very much agressive - something that wolves aren't at all. Wolves are the precurser of our companions the dog. I never think of a wolf, in any other way, than that they are one of God's perfect creations.

These are really amazing and beautiful pictures of wolves. I agree with Shirley H. I wish there were more scenes that show wolf families. They are
devoted parents. Very gentle and playful with their young. Still great pictures that someone should show Sarha Palin!!

What amazing creatures....also ironic that the Intelligent Design/Moronic Destructionist (Palin) wants them dead while the Scientists, ruled by realism and logic are trying to save them.

I think the mean-looking wolf with the teeth showing expresses the disdain it has for humans who hunt wolves. Think about it. If you were a wolf, wouldn't your response to humans be the same? Any contact the wolf has, it is usually the hunter or some airplane shooting at it.

I thoroughly agree with all of the above comments..........(Maureen, love your photo too !)
Wolves are so precious, I just pray for them, along with the many many others in danger !!

Thanks, Sheila. I love my smiley wolf also. It was given to me by a dear friend I met on another site. Prayer - it is powerful, I keep praying also every day for the wolves & all animals.

"Oh, grandmother, what big teeth you have!" - A very unusual photo and actually a very nice looking wolf although he/she is NOT very happy with the intrusion!

Have signed so many petitions to stop the killing of wolves and yet the slaughter goes on! They deserve a place on our planet just like every other species. It is human intervention that has caused a major imbalance in our environment, not the animals.

I can't imagine killing such a magnificent animal. I'm amazed at home much our dog looks like a wolf! The lineage is definitely there for our pooch!

I have seen timber wolves up close. They are beautiful. However, if it is winter, they pack, they aren't so wonderful and are VERY agressive. Not cute. They will always be beautiful but when hunting they are very serious. If you ever see them with teeth showing, it is a scary thing and then you realize the power these animals have and how they survive.

Thanks Liono for sharing these glorious pictures. There's something about the wolf that rivits our attention and leaves a long lasting impression. A wolf is the ultimate survivor. We have a duty to help him continue with this.
