Tell the FDA: Diet Milk Is Not Milk!

Society & Culture  (tags: corruption, FDA, artifical sweeteners )

- 1835 days ago -
The dairy industry wants to put aspartame and other artificial sweeteners in your milk. They're asking the FDA to change the definition of milk and 17 other dairy products not to have to label their artificially-sweetened products as "reduced calorie."

N & S.
If you will -- get a community Field and Barn for Dairy Cows and chickens -- as an Educational center -- with the use of the milk and eggs for the community -- and those who visit with an entrance fee.
This is a good way to have Independence from the People who try to have all the power and own the world.
Please consider this. Thank You!

signed - we need to make them label everything otherwise it's a slippery slope - and it will effect our kids and those who don't understand that there may be unhealthy chemicals present if it's not labeled clearly

S&N. Aspartame belongs in rat poison to entice those little vermin to die, not in products for human consumption; it's more toxic than sodium cyclamate. I would not object to milk with stevia added, but aspartame is right out!

I have noticed in the UK on the labelling for this product..
It states... 'sweetened' but there is no mention of with what it is sweetened other than to say..'sugars'.. Dubious..?

NOBODY past the age of two ''needs'' milk!

Nature WEANS babies.

We've been victimized by the dairy industry in this country. Stop drinking that stuff and do your body a favor!

Can't see why we would need sweeteners in it unless it is chocolate milk. MMMM chocolate.

I haven't signed this petition, although I've received several invitations, because the more important issue is the abuse of animals in the dairy industry. Maybe people will stop supporting the abuse if milk is "contaminated". Humans don't need cow's milk. It's for baby cows.

I drink almond "milk" which isn't milk at all. I do however use milk for making yoghurt and I eat cheese. Sweetening milk is one of the most absurd things I've heard of.

@ John G --- Be careful as soy is known as one item that is broadly affected by GMOs.

Milk is detrimental enough to human health as it is without making it even worse by adding aspartame to it!

Cow's milk is for calves!

There are plenty of healthy plant milk alternatives to dairy. Soya, almond, rice, oat, hazelnut, coconut etc.

They can call milk that has been pasteurized, homogenized, flavored with chemicals, add sweeteners milk.
but, the stuff that comes straight from the cow is raw and natural and this is a crime to consume. How messed up is this?
