Kamba and her companion, African elephant Congo, are usually trained and exhibited by Doug Terranova (circus trainer) who has a long history of complaints & violations of the Animal Welfare Act.

In 2008 these 2 elephants were spooked during a tornado in Kansas, escaped their enclosure at fairgrounds, and rampaged through yards until their path was blocked and they were tranquilized.

IDA has previously contacted the USDA about Doug Terranova.

Ask that Doug Terranova be forced to relinquish his license to train, own and work with animals. Request that Kamba & Congo be confiscated and sent to an elephant sanctuary.
