Hi Joy,
Thank you!
From what I understand .. the vehicle flipped and one owner had to be air lifted with extensive injuries and the other was taken to the hospital with his leg broken in 4 places. I hope and pray Chopper was un-injured and someone found him and is caring for him.
I hope we can help get him home soon.
Take Care,
Jerilyn

With many blessings for Chopper to be found and hopefully someone is kind enough to bring him home to his owners, this is so sad.

I will pray for Chopper to be reunited with his family & for him to be found in good condition.

TY Jerilyn for this article, noted w/hope. Will forward. TY Charles my friend for the forward.

May the Great Spirit watch over Chopper, let him come home in good health.

I will keep Chopper in my heart, thoughts and prayers. This is a horrifying experience; hence why I'm such an advocate for using a travel harness on each of my dogs, so they then get seatbelted in when we go anywhere in the car. I've forwarded the info to some Ms people, and various other southern contacts.

Hi Kathy G.,
Thank you!
I'm not sure if Chopper was wearing a harness.
I had once posted for help after an accident that the dog ran off after a fireman had cut the dogs harness.
You never know what a scared and may be injured animal will do.
Take Care,
Jerilyn

I hope someone found him and has been taking care of him.
If so, hopefully they would see the information and reward offered. It seems if someone found him and took him to a vet, they would scan him for a chip.
My prayers are with Chopper and his family and hopeful they can be reunited.

Hi all! I've read all the comments but am unable to find out exactly how Chopper went missing and was he involved in the accident? Was it his family whose vehicle was in the accident. Winter is coming fast and a lost dog will not fare well out of doors.

Hi Denise! I think Chopper was hit by strangers, not by family. I am praying for God to send him to a nice, warm, caring, family who will take him to a vet and have him checked out and they'll discover the chip and contact the family. Thank you, Jerilyn, for bringing us Chopper's sad story. We ar all praying for a happy ending. If you would like to light a chandle for Chopper & his family, please feel free to do so on my page. Hi Barbcat,
Chopper was riding with his family when their car flipped. Chopper was lost as one family member was air lifted and the others were taken to the hospital.
The candle is a great idea!
Thanks,
Jerilyn

I dont want to sound crule, but this was five months ago. Maybe someone did pick him up, but they dont know, or just dont want to give him up. If hes alive, that chip may someday tell. I have learned one thing over the years. No matter how bad it may be, someone will always ask about there pet, if they can. But to many times that is over looked, by police, fire, who ever shows up. I wish them all well.

I hope he will be found soon and will be reunited with his family again. Losing a member of your family is terrible, especially when the dog is very skitish.
I will crosspost and share, with thanks to Ginger G. and Jerilyn.

Hi Bob,
That's not being cruel .. it's just the facts!
When I read about this in my local paper I contacted the owners.
With all the resources I have I had to offer my help.
Helping animals and their owners is what I do daily.
The more that read about Chopper the better chance he has to be brought home.
Thanks for the well wishes!
Take Care,
Jerilyn
