It's been a bizarre story from the get-go. A sweet looking golden lab seized from his family and deemed vicious by the Salem, Mo Mayor.

"He showed us a photo of the injury caused by the bite. He also said the dog had bitten before. The dog owners` attorney disputes that the dog had bitten before and says those were playful nips"
I don't understand this whole situation

Labs are not dangerous at all, they are one of the sweetest dogs, I know I had one and he was a big teddy bear.

I hope Phineas is released, he's been thru so much. What about the fireman who was fired for helping him? Can't we do something about that? Thanks Katka.

Authorities needs to let Phenias go home where he belongs, as he is innocent & not a dangerous dog. Thanks Katka.

Labbies are amazing dogs, extremely intelligent and sensitive. I have one and my heart breaks for this precious dog - I pray things get sorted out quickly and that he gets sent back to his owner. My labby when he gets hyped up and playful sometimes takes a nip, but certainly not intentionally or from aggression. These people are real idiots - he should never have been removed in the first place. My argument will remain the same, why did the owner hand him over - why didn't they fight this before the dog was even taken from them.

Stupid judge trying to fine some to blame for actually nothing, no real harm done.
If justice is based on fear where are we heading for ?

By the way getting vicious dogs of the street is not the same as killing a family pet after a long proven wrong conviction.

The police in Salem Mo. stated earlier on, that they never received any previous reports on Phineas ever biting any one. This is a very corrupt town. A man in Salem, the grandfather of the little girl that was supposedly bitten, has stated that he knows enough on the town officials, that would ensure Phineas will be killed. This man's name is Kevin Sybert..who is the person pushing to have him killed, who also stated that Salem is "his sandbox".
