Dog Groomer, AMANDA TODD, of Greensboro, NC murdered her roommate's dog that was in her care because she was partying and the dog was annoying her.

She slammed the Maltese into a wall causing blood to be splattered all over the walls and even knocked Little's (the dog) teeth out.

She admitted to partying and confessed to what she did. Today, she decided to recant her story and very casually laughed it off.

Maximum jail time and fines for animal abusers! Please prosecute this low life to the fullest. There is a known connection between animal abuse escalating to human abuse. First a dog, next a child. I hope the measly $1,000 bail is NOT indicative of how the state is treating this case.

I wish I never saw that news clip... I could smack that smug grin out of that crack whore's face!!

I'm in Greensboro too and am disgusted with this person. I can only hope she get maximum prison time and is forced to pay a settlement to the Greensboro Humane Society, but I know the justice system here in NC is lacking. She'll probably get a slap on the wrist and told not to do it again. I'm also disgusted at the $1000 bond - it may as well have been $0.

This is too shocking. I have a Maltese myself, the story really hit home because of the breed. In a society where companion animals are considered family members, it never ceases to amaze me when someone can be that callous and cold-blooded enough to commit such a crime. If I was in her roommate's position, there's no telling what I would have done in retaliation. Believe me, if anyone hurt my dog, there WOULD be retaliation. This just angers me so much, and I haven't even seen the video confession yet. I've just signed the petition and I will be watching closely on the developments of this case.
