Both my cats are rescued 'feral' [sic] colony-cats from a neighborhood where cats are stolen and used for 'bait' [!] for dogfighting, and run down on purpose in the streets by sadistic speeders. Both cats would have been immediately euthanized by area "shelters": the 4 yr old boy has severe post-traumatic disorder from surviving as a tom in such a neighborhood; now he's a happy/neutered and emotionally-healing, healthy and adoring fellow. His half-sister, my 3-yr old girl-kitty Pepita survived in the 'hood BLIND from birth [!]. Both cats needed medical tx being riddled with parasites, mites and infections; both chose to THRIVE. No pet is as touchingly loving as a rescued pet!! "ADOPT - DON'T BUY!!!" Save loving loves - make a DIFFERENCE.

p.s. typo: meant to type "save loving LIVES" - but, hey, I think "loves" says it even better, 'cause they are all LOVES, and DESERVE to have their lives saved! Adopt a rescue - spay/neuter - sponsor fostered rescues - MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE!
