Our team in Indonesia is making real progress rescuing primates from the pet markets. Now they have uncovered another shocking situation which they cannot ignore - in West Kalimantan (Indonesian Borneo) a number of orangutans are being kept in terrible

How dreadful, the rescue team had to leave the orangutans in shackles suspended over sewage on small pallets. I cannot bear to think about this,

I have a soft spot for orangs as, in general, they are peaceful and sweet which is why they make such good pets.

I hope that Charlie can be rescued very soon together with the others.
