Here's what you can do

HELP save these tragic lions by sending donations to the Wildlife Heritage Foundation who are collecting cash on the Yorkshire Wildlife Park's behalf.


You can donate electronically to the fund from your online bank. The Barclays account number is 00623016 and the sort code is 20-20-37.


Or you can send a cheque made payable to the Wildlife Heritage Foundation to: Save The Lions, Yorkshire Wildilfe Park, Branton, Doncaster, DN3 3NH.


The park is also raising funds through www.lionrescue.co.uk which will contain a link to the same bank account.

Those poor lions. Starved and kept from her natural behavior. They must be saved. Lions are endangered. They are beautiful animals. To let them be executed is cruel. They must be saved no matter what the cost. They have the right to go home. Back to the wild where they belong. Where they can no longer see bars of cages and people who mean to hurt them. They must be saved.

This is noted with falling tears. Sorry,can't see to type. Truly upset...Wish I had a ton of money, of course it would all go to the animals, but not right now....will forward this one!!!

OMG....THESE POOR BABIES,, I WISH I COULD TAKE CARE OF THEM ALL... I AM SADDENED AS MY FATHER DIED 3 YEARS AGO, AND LEFT 4 OF HIS 7 CHILDERN 2.3 BILLION DOLLARS, i AM NOT ONE, THOUGH i AM SECOND BORN.. THE ONE IN CHARGE COMPLAINED AND BITCHED AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY, AND YET SHE IS ONE OF THE 4 GETTING THIS INHERITANCE, I WAS TOLD DO NOT COME AS OUR 9JUST HER AND MY MOM) WAS NOT WANTED THERE, I NEVER GOT TO SAY GOODBYE, ABUT I NOW KNOW WHY. GREED IS DISGUSTING, I COULDVE HELPED SO MANY.. 3 YEARS HAVE PASSED AND I STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN MY PITTANCE, I AM NOT ANGRY ANY MORE JUST HURT.. SO MANY BABIES AND SO LIL TIME.

Have noted this story and my family have also sent a donation. They are £36,000 away from their £150,000 target. I really hope, with the generousity of other caring people, that they will get there!
