This was a fantastic article. Yes, it was very true also. I use to have a terrible allergy to cats. About sixteen years ago, I rescued my first cat, Abbey, from an abusive situation. I had already had three dogs at the time. It did not take but a few months until I was no longer allergic to cats. Unfortunately, Abbey went "home" a few years ago but, now I have Fiona and Jacoby plus three more dogs. Thank you for taking the time to share this article with us.

People laugh at me when I tell them I'm allergic to cats, because we have five and they live all over us. I still sometimes experience light allergies to other people's cats, but not to ours. Of course, growing up on the farm I also started out to be allergic to the horses and ponies, the rabbits, the chickens, the dogs, the steers, and all the other animals in the family. I think it might be mind over fur or something like that.
