They are always getting on the wrong side of the public... and are making a hornets nest... These horses should be free to roam and graze... Cattle farms shoudl be restricted to their own areas, and they need to stop encroaching onto the horses side of the fence

Thanks Simone. Nice to see they are finally looking at the brumbies from a scientific view, not just as greenies. Maybe now more people will realise that they are not threatening the environment as much as is generally believed. Controlling their numbers is important, but I don't agree with the people who think it is necessary to remove all of them. I understand that they are not a native species here, but they do have a strong cultural and heritage significance to many Australians.
