I admire and applaud all you have done for society to recognize and speak out against about so many causes including child abuse, domestic violence, and women's rights. However, when are you going to do more to speak out about the rights of animals?

t would be great if all magazines and newspapers would fulfill their social responsibilities and make some effort to have a positive effect on our communities and our nation. We will all benefit from wildlife conservation and preservation. We will all benefit from a healthy environment and from clean air and clean water. We all benefit when society refuses to ignore and tolerate cruelty; we're all at risk when we allow or tolerate cruelty because cruelty feeds on itself and escalates. People who can be cruel and enjoy being cruel are dangerous to us all.
I've not witnessed any but would not fail to report it and / or intervene in animal cruelty.
