If ever any country can tell the world that they are going to take good care of their dogs and cats and other animals and also start programs on welfare of animals ---- I bet you it will attract more tourists.

I sent email as follows to both addresses.
Animals are human too and should be treated with respect. They value their lives just as much as we do. Who are we to decide when to kill animals of any kind!! This is sick and absolutely unacceptable. I am asking you to stop the senseless killing of dogs for tourism reasons. I will be sending this report to as many people as I can that travel to boycott your area, as long as you continue this abuse.

This is horrendous, inhumane and despicably to say the least. There is no purpose for this injustice to poison and end a life in this manner. I feel that even if they left these animals alone because they didn’t want to care for them they would find their way in life. Anything is better than murder!!!!

To think this is the country where Mahatma Ghandi was born.He would be ashamed to be called Indian when his people are inflciting such pain and suffering on the 'voiceless' animals.Utter senseless and despicable !!!!
There is great need for our voices to be heard to protect our cherished animals.

Sending emails. This is disgusting and I hope the people that cause this horrific pain and suffering get what is coming to them... sooner rather than later.

Gr$$d rules.. Animals lose! So too will humans, should they get in the way of the Gr$$dy abusers of their power.. It breaks my heart knowing that there are people out there without compassion for the least of these.. Poison tortures those who ingest it..Stop this action because you will not see many tourists once we send this out to the many networks open to US!

noted, emailing, and wondering - Where ARE these two Indian organisations in this matter? (Wrote to both and asked for their action):

1. http://awbi.org (The Animal Welfare Board of India):
(awbi@md3.vsnl.net.in, secretary.awbi@gmail.com)

" I read that: “The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (PCA)Act 1960(59 of 1960) was enacted in December 1960 with the object of preventing infliction of unnecessary pain and suffering to animals by The Govt. of India, Ministry of Food and Agriculture constituted the Animal Welfare Board of India on 19th March 1962”.
I also read that You have the power to issue regulations and punish criminals. (http://www.awbi.org/act.htm)
If so indeed, please act by joining the efforts to stop this suffering once and for all.
Thank you and Bless you for all that you do. "

2. bluecrossofindia@gmail.com :
"I read that “The Blue Cross of India was established in 1959 and registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act in 1964 to alleviate the suffering of animals. It has grown to become one of India's largest animal welfare organizations, running active animal welfare, animal rights and humane education programmes.”
If so indeed, please act by joining the efforts to stop this suffering once and for all.
Thank you and Bless you for all that you do. "

Please send positive visualizations and prayers, and meditate for the people of the world, and especially countries like this, to open their hearts and develop love and compassion for animals. Thank you to all caring people. God's blessings.

Tried to send all 3 emails but only one email address worked. No idea why. This is a very sad instance of cruelty to animals, and I am afraid this is by no means limited to the "backward" countries-- sorry to say that I come across numerous instances of similar in the US, when going thru my care2 petitions.
