We definitely have to protect these horses... how can they think of doing this.. I am sure there would be a lot of people who would love to buy these horses.. Culling is not the answer.. I am appalled that the so called civilised Aussies would allow this in their country

The article goes on about the quality and worth of the these horses. What is the difference if they are Arabian or whatever, is that the reason why we need to save these horses because of their dollar value? What about their value as living beings that we share the planet with, that we are connected to?

We need to save these horses because its the right thing to do and wrong thing to do is to kill them.

As for being civilized, I guess we better forget about it. Politicians get bought and who ever has the money does what ever they want or who ever has the strong hold in government do whatever they want. So what happened to being civilized, humane, compassionate etc? Gone with the wind.

Lets hope that who ever is fighting for these horses to live, wins.

Simone I notice that this story is on a New Zealand site. Would it be better to make sure that all of AUSTRALIA becomes aware of these horses & their futures plan.

Thats the human way, kill and destroy anything in its way or in its control. Man don't know how to use what they have, without being cruel and selfish.No-one dealing with the real problem that causes or adds to the problem, cause someone profits off this.
