Four of the 11 puppies died.
This woman is horrifically cruel and entirely uncaring about it. From the story-
Magistrates heard how police raided Cheadle's home after she refused to let them in, branding the RSPCA "animal pornographers", "GM terrorists" and "criminals".

In total, 26 dogs and a ginger cat were seized from the property after they were found in "squalid" and cramped conditions, it was claimed.

Cheadle, of Fletching, East Sussex, denies causing unnecessary suffering between August last year and February this year. Before walking out, she told the court: "It seems pretty self evident that the RSPCA are going to win. I don't wish to participate in a process which is detrimental to my dogs." The trial continues.

And that's the sort of person who makes me ashamed of being a Sussexilian. Her arrogant assertion that these were trivial and minor offences shows her complete lack of concern for the animals in her care. Locking them in a suitacase in a cupboard (closet) defies belief Is thia the responsible breeder we so often told exists or more likely is she actually suffering from some mental illness and needs urgent treatment herself! She cannot shrug this behaviour off as Silly Sussex!

Maybe the old Sussex rhyme " Sussex born Sussex bred strong in arm weak in head" was coined for just such a person only it is quite likely she is not a Sussexillian! She is certainly a very nasty and contemptable person!

I think this woman has a 'screw' loose somewhere. She must be banned from being within a 100 metres of any animal , let alone owning one!

Now this is a person that I would like to stick in a suitcase and see how they like it. Sometimes there needs to be a reversal roll so the other side can see how it really feels!!!! I think her days' of breeding should be over. There are enough animals out there that we need people to adopt as it is. What a wackado…

She also needs to spend some time in jail with nothing to eat but dog biscuits. She is a jack leg if I ever saw one…
Thanks Simone

She's going to loose her case, and she knows it. I really hope that this time, in the UK, the penalty will actually be imprisonment. She is disrespectful of the law, and I am surprised an assessemnt of her mental health has not been deemed necessary in this case. Perhaps that's to come.

Sadly the probabilty is that this nutter will get a larger part of her sentence, if she is found guilty, for her disrespect of the court rather than the cruelty offence!
