A senior Russian policeman has been sacked after his officers were accused of illegal hunting in a wildlife reserve designed to help save the rare Siberian tiger, the interior ministry said on Tuesday.

Of course, I hope the police officer learns his lesson and decides to actually help conserve the forest and the tigers.

Roseann and Gorilly, in the old days in the Russian Far East, people who committed crimes against nature or the gods would be sentenced to death by tying them to a tree and wait for "Amba" (the tiger) to kill them.
