Thargomindah, in the outback of Queensland, Australia, is a quiet small town with a population of 203. That is, until nightfall when the town's population doubles with the arrival of hundreds of other Australians...kangaroos and emus desperate to find food

When agriculture is the new GOD of greed, and no more land and resources available for our wild life - what will the end be? We'll sit on our cropped land - surrounded by the deafening silence and desolate landscape of a world devoid of wild life.

Agriculture needs to sit side by side with wildlife. Aussie farmers are known for their habit of killing wildlife because of the food and water competition. It is of deep concern that we cause such terrible conditions for wildlife then leave them to suffer a terrible fate.

It is simply not true that agriculture in Australia will lead to a "world devoid of wild life", especially the kangaroo. For those of you that haven't seen it, like this article says, they have reached plague proportions in many areas. They take advantage of the feed provided by pastures and crops, not to mention the water from farm dams and troughs. Their numbers grow and when the feed supply declines many starve to death. They also end up dying from disease.

There does need to be a balance between farming and wildlife, but allowing kangaroos to take over our country will not achieve this. They need to have their numbers controlled, not only to protect farm land (where our food comes from by the way. Or do people always forget this?) but to ensure that they remain healthy. Besides, they taste REALLY good.

Poor babies. I don't feel bad for the farmers at all! Please!

This overall is human kinds issue that they have created, and now they resort to killing them off like they are mosquitoes?

I'd leave them food and water if I could!

I'm sure the farmers are going without...
