"Glass Walls" goes deeper into the meat and dairy industries than any video we have produced before. The video contains real-life footage of cows, chickens, sheep and other animals who are abused on factory farms across Europe and around the world -

In Sweden animals rights groups recently exposed the disgusting situation in pig farms.
It was a surprise to many, but not to me. There is nothing wrong with our animal welfare legislation, but what good is that if most farmers don't give a damn?
-Proud to be vegetarian, thank you very much!

I became a vegetarian in 1976; and have been vegan for many years now. Best thing I EVER did.
Not everyone would go veggie-look at someone heartless and cold like Sarah Palin. I will NEVER forget the footage of her blathering away while the poor turkey was being slaughtered behind her... her bragging about shooting and skinning animals...she is one evil woman!!
But, people need to know the TRUTH. They need to SEE.

I became an omnivore when I was born.
I know full well that the meat I eat is the result of animals being raised for that purpose and slaughtered.
I do not have any guilt feelings about being the same as the majority of human life so you lot are wasting your time trying to hang a guilt trip on other normal people.

knowlege of what happesn in a slaughter house wouldn't make me go veg.

however, knowing about terrible conditions that most of our animals live in (factory farms) before slaughter certainly helped me go vegetarian, as did knowlege of our unsustainable fishing practices, over grazing public lands, destruction of rainforest just for a year or 2 or beef production, and the simple fact that in a world of 6 billion people, the fact that you can feed 10X more people by eating lower on the food chain becomes significant.

just seeing pictures of chickens with their beaks and toungues cut off or live pigs hanging by their legs as they bleed to death is sad, but it wouldn't make me change. knowing that my eating habits are unnecessrily destroying my world changed me fast.

Its beyond me why people choose to live in the dark and believe the lies they are fed about being meat eaters and do not choose to make informed decisions. With just a little research they can find out the truth. Learn to think for yourselves and don't take it for granted that what someone says or does is the truth, find out for yourselves.

People who say they are omnivores by nature are only showing their ignorance. Dogs are
omnivores by nature and cats are carnivores by nature BUT

WE ARE NOT OMNIVORES BY NATURE. WE ARE HERBIVORES BY NATURE.

And here is a little information to help those who insist on the opposite. Check out the following website there is heaps of information.

http://www.goveg.com/naturalhumandiet.asp

The Natural Human Diet

According to biologists and anthropologists who study our anatomy and our evolutionary history, humans are herbivores who are not well suited to eating meat.

Unlike natural carnivores, we are physically and psychologically unable to rip animals limb from limb and eat and digest their raw flesh. Even cooked meat is likely to cause human beings, but not natural carnivores, to suffer from food poisoning, heart disease, and other ailments.

People who pride themselves on being part of the human hunter tradition should take a second look at the story of human evolution. Prehistoric evidence indicates that humans developed hunting skills relatively recently and that most of our short, meat-eating past was spent scavenging and eating almost anything in order to survive; even then, meat was a tiny part of our caloric intake.

Humans lack both the physical characteristics of carnivores and the instinct that drives them to kill animals and devour their raw carcasses. Ask yourself: When you see dead animals on the side of the road, are you tempted to stop for a snack? Does the sight of a dead bird make you salivate? Do you daydream about killing cows with your bare hands and eating them raw? If you answered "no" to all of these questions, congratulations—you're a normal human herbivore—like it or not. Humans were simply not designed to eat meat.

Man has been eating meat since the beginning of time, but God never intended for any of his creations to suffer. There is nothing humane about this. Shame, shame, shame.

To think that animals suffer so much before ending up on someone's plate is just horrible. They look so sad and betrayed in the video -- couldn't watch it all. What sort of farmers/slaughterhouses do such things??

Cows scream at the slaughter house. Plants do not have a central nervous system and therefore cnannot feel pain please!!! Go vegan it is the only way at present to stop the cruelty because the USDA is not doing their jobs and nobody in the industry cares. Money is all they care about. Boycott all meat and poultry and all by products!!

Animallib.

It’s so so easy to cut and paste an entire article and pretend to be knowledgeable about something you obviously know little about.

I could do the same to support my viewpoint, but what the heck, you wouldn’t look at it with an open mind anyway.

The website you quoted is not objective, it is totally biased, it does not quote the truth, just your preferred version of what you want to believe.

You have a veggie mindset and that’s that. You have stopped thinking for yourself and now only seek more verification for your single-minded point of view.

The nonsensical argument about not having the ability to kill animals with our bare hands and rip them apart before eating them raw is comical and has been stated by the anti meat crusaders many, many times in the past.

That happened when were living in caves. (Yes it did, do some research)
Now we just go the butcher or supermarket because it’s all done for us.

And yes in a lot of cultures raw meat is eaten regularly. Look up Carpaccio, Crudos, Kitfo, Gored gored, Tartare, Yukhoe, Mett and many more. My personal favourite is Tartare and Polynesian style raw fish is a beautiful dish.

Your argument is typically an emotional response to images you imagine from hearsay rather than anything you have witnessed yourself.

Unless you have seen first hand how animals are raised, how they are cared for by farmers and how they are humanely slaughtered your arguments are just the usual ranting of the guilt ridden.

What a ridiculous thing to say regarding eating road-kill. It would not be very hygienic not knowing how long a carcass had been there and what other animals had been feeding off it. That’s why we have abattoirs which are a controlled hygienic environment and fully equipped.
