From other recent news it does seem that the Indian government is concerned to protect tigers especially in view of this year's Chinese Year of the Tiger. Thank you Simone.

Thanks Simone - I really hope India can DO something - it is such a poor countrry, with a small few struggling to preserve the wildlife. Any help that can be given, should be.

Great idea!! Make DVD's of the Tigers and sell them at a cost that billions of people can afford. Make a ton of money and create a bigger and more protected enviornment for the Tigers. And yes, shot to kill all poachers, ask questions later. And yes, there will be millions of Chinese wanting Tiger parts, so shoot them as well!!!! The ones wanting only!!!!

Me too! It's about time that the tigers' right to live in peace was finally acknowledge. I agree that poachers should be shot on sight - perhaps with a tranquilizer gun, or to wound - but that would only be a warning.
