Concert venue chain House of Blues has hatched the entertainment industry's first-ever exclusively cage-free egg policy for the food it serves customers. This initiative will be effective January 1st.

This is very good to hear. I just hope that those "cage free" labels are genuine and true. Tha is half the problem the lable system and no one to regulate means they could be lying and getting away with it. I hope they go to see who they are buying from.

News such as this is uplifting and very encouraging that we're really beginning to realize that anything with a heart also has a soul. Happy hens do indeed lay better eggs.

this is great if the chickens are truely cage free and not packed into buildings where they are as croweded as in battery cages. cage free does not mean free roaming. packed into building where they cant move any more than in a battery cage is not cruelty free.

Good news, thanks Simone. Like Tierney I hope that the suppliers will be honest and that House of Blues will truly be getting eggs from humane sources.
