Simple question, did you even look at what he research is? If not then you must feel modern medicine is useless which is certianly your right.

Remember that the next time you go to the doctor or need emergency care. If you do not understand the rationales for anything and are against because you feel it is wrong I truly respect that as long as you reap no rewards from the use of animals, such as birth control pills, surgery, antibiotics or for that matter any drug or proceedure done in hospital. You can't have it both ways.

We need to stop cosmetic testing, we need to stop much that is only there because of human vanity; but medical need is a different story.

The BIG problem with anmal testing is that IT'S NOT EFFECTIVE. Their systems do NOT react the same way ours do.. Doesn't it sink in when the results from animal testing come out so different than when the same thing is tested on humans???? It has been known for years that the test results are basically not valid in animals.

Noted and signed petition. For myself, there is NEVER a valid reason for abusing any sentient beings in the name of science, medical research, whatever. I have virtually no faith in the medical profession anyway and treat myself holistically. If this professor has been doing the same test for 30 years on hamsters, surely by now he has a result??? How many more animals need to die in the name of research, sounds like a good excuse for legalised cruelty.
