Conservation experts all agree that we WILL lose great apes in the wild within two decades! Agreements like this one are important--and so are zoo breeding programs.

Habitat loss, civil wars, the pet trade and BUSHMEAT are all stacking the deck against great apes. Yes--people kill gorillas for food!

Without captive breeding programs...gorillas are lost!
