On a clear, cool fall morning, a bald eagle swoops in from its perch on a cliff overlooking Trinity Lake in Northern California. With grace and speed, the eagle flies low over the water and snatches a bass any fisherman would be happy to catch. Chased

It would be sad to let the symbol of our country go into extinction. It might be a forwarning of what was to happen to the country.

At least there's some good news out there about the fate of animals. I feel like I'm hitting my head against a brick wall. Tigers have been declared fair game, the harp seal is on its way to extinction, and tigers - well, I only hope that the zoos can keep the species alive, because the greedy ones who only want their pelts aren't going to quit. I can only hope that people like us can keep enough members of these endangered species alive until this entire greedy generation dies off. Higher Consciousness is spreading - just not quickly enough for the animals. May God help us all.

I feel so honored to live close to the Klamath Basin. Today I watched a bald eagle fly around my house and scope it out. He/she checked out my dogs (who were barking at the eagle) and watched me while circling. He/she hung around for a minute or so and I was so thankful I was outside at the time. They are so special and I always feel blessed by their attention. Thanks Simone
