The Western Australian Government has denied claims that it's struck a deal with a Queensland musterer, to round up feral horses from the Kimberley. The West Australian newspaper reported the government plans to have wild horses from Lake Gregory

Noted , thank you for the posting Simone. I hope the publicity will bring about a rethink. Surely some horses could be relocated and there could be a mass contraceptive (administered in a food drop?) to start to address the horse numbers in the future. But culling is inhumane and unfair.

THIS IS AN OUTRAGE. I AM DIGUSTED TO LIVE IN QLD. FOR THIS STATE IS THE WORST FOR WANTING TO KILL OFF ALL OUR WILD LIFE. DINGO"S ON FRASER ISLAND,KOALA,WILD HORSES, KANGAROOS, THE LIST GOES ON.AND TO THINK THAT THIS STATE IS RUN BY A WOMAN. NOT TO MENTION THE ENVIRONIMENT MINISTER IS A WOMAN. GOD HELP OUR CREATURES.......................

Noted - it's great the government is looking into alternative solutions for this problem. Some kind of population control --- after all where are the billions of human beings going to live???
