This makes me sick. Some of his dogs still sit in corners and shake. God forgive him because I won't. Most of what I think of him is unprintable. I would like to do to him what he did to his dogs! Thank you Simone!

Signed. He admitted sometimes killing dogs w/ his bare hands! He should be donating a good portion of his lucrative income to opening a rehab, shelter for dogs rescued from fighting!

Already signed, Simone.
Thanks for not stopping on this issue. We must remember that Vick's sordid bahaviour is noted and registered in the minds of young people. TIME's attitude is a denial of responsibility towards them.

TIME should be ashamed of themselves. This man abused animals and he gets his name printed in their magazine? I won't buy another issue.

As long as a football player can score points on the field, all is forgiven (or is it forgotten?). This really says something about society and our values. What really matters to these fans and teams is winning, not individual character or compassion. These people are disgusting and obviously have no soul.

I will never forgive or forget the horrible things Vick did to his dogs. I still don't believe he thinks he did anything wrong. I think the only reason he is sorry about anything, is the fact that he was caught and had to go to prison (not long enough, if you ask me). I know that people can be redeemed, but don't believe Vick will ever be. Even if he does give talks to young people about the horrors of dog fighting, I don't think he really believes it. He is simply a bad person.

Already signed. I don't think Vick should be on top of anything but the sh*t list. He is a poor person for our young people to look up to and I don't think he should be playing ball. He is a creep.

He's nothing but a disgusting scumbag, and now he's got the nerve to say he wants to own a dog again!!!! Has he forgotten how he tortured and abused his dogs because I certainly haven't and I hope everybody keeps remembering the horrors so he won't get the chance to do it again. Shame on everyone who follows him as he's definately no hero to me.

Noted and signed...Sadly I live in the Philadelphia area, and whats even more troubling to me, is how fast, the fans, have forgotten what he did, and the TV and Newspaper people, always have storys about him on TV, or in the Newspaper, saying what a great guy guy is, and he's now redeemed, and doing all the right things Blah, blah, blah...It's absolutely sickening...I remember when he first signed with the Eagles, most everyone was against, it saying, well I'm not rooting for the Eagles anymore, until they get Michael Vick off the team...Amazing what a few wins does to change your mind...These same people are now running around in Michael Vick Jerseys, saying he's great, be paid for his mistakes, everyone deserves a second change, and all the other BS...However, I know Philadelphia and it's fans, the first time, they lose a big game, Michael Vick will be a bum again...

Okay, I signed...but..I must add my two cents...I think Vick got away with a "slap on the wrist".That seems to be the usual punishment for abusing animals...How sad..Of all people to set a good example for others, especially children, Vick sure fell short..He may have "paid his debt to society" as the saying goes...but I'm not at all satisfied. I certainly won't give him any extras...Forget MVP...So, commit a crime, serve alittle time, resume your career, make millions, and that's it??? Not for me. I won't forget the cruelty he forced upon the dogs...not ever...either should you...

Every time I see this SOB's face in the paper or on the news I hope it's going to say his knee has been shattered in a game and his career is over. I will never forget or forgive what this sorry excuse for a man did and as for him wanting a dog, you've got to be kidding me ! He should be treated the same way as a pedophile and never be allowed anywhere near a dog or any animal ever again.

I guess in the eyes of the NFL executive$, he didn't trip a dog on the sidelines like the NY Jets coaching staff member did (and who will probably lose his job). Twisted priorities in this modern world!

Despicable. there is no excuse for that waste of human space to have returned to society, much less his multi-million dollar job. Every penny he earns should be donated to animal welfare. Monstrous murderer.

He may be the one of the top ten of something but not it wouldn't be for anything good. All he did was abuse dogs in the eyes of too many people and he's such a good player. Shouldn't we let that go? I think not.

Time also had Adolf Hitler as cover man of the year when he was just getting started. We aren't far removed from times of the gladiators in social conscience are we? Charles Manson still gets fan letters. Go figure.

This animal abuser is thumbing his ugly nose to the world with the help of short-minded, short-sighted sports casters and so-called "journalists". For Time to even suggest this dog-killer should be in the Top 10 exposes the lack of compassion, ethics, and spines this rag magazine encompasses. Let's face it, the MAJORITY of people who do not live in and around Philadelphia, view this low life for what he's done off the football field more than his antics on the field. The overwhleming majority of pet owners see this creep for what he is-- a dog killer. And not to worry, the Eagles will NOT make the Superbowl. The spirits of the dogs this creep has tortured and killed will make sure of that.

This really makes me sick to my stomach, what an outrage to glorify Michael Vick shame on the NFL for allowing him to return to football. He IS NOT SORRY for what he did, He is an animal and shame on Time, I will never ever buy another issue of Time for making this man a Hero. He is NOT a hero I'm just sick about this !!!!!!! He is not sorry about what he did only sorry he got caught. MONEY MONEY MONEY is the only thing he is interested in, He should be TERMINATED.

I wouldn't read a magazine or newspaper that glorified Vick. I believe his sentence has too lenient and he should be banned from ever having contact with any kind of animal ever again.

Seems like TIME magazine condones everything this sick, cruel individual has done to those poor dogs and rewarding him for it. I am so disgusted with his fans who think that this "man" is some sort of hero just because he plays, what I think, is the most stupid game on earth (you don't need any brains to play it, just height) and it's obvious that he is brainless! No wonder there is so much animal abuse in the world when he’s regarded as a role model to impressionable young people. I think TIME needs to reconsider as this “man” is nothing more than an animal abuser and murderer. Enough said! Noted. Thank you Simone!
