Bisphenol A (BPA) is a harmful chemical found in many products we use every day, including the linings of food and drink cans, cash register receipts, and reusable sports bottles made from hard plastic.

Where is the US FDA on this important issue? If possible, buy your food in glass jars rather than plastic or tin cans. Complain to the store manager if glass is not available. I put nearly all of my food in glass jars as soon as it gets in the kitchen, incl mustard and catsup. What do you suppose is making those bright red and yellow containers those colors?? We probably would not want to know.

Putting poison in food containers makes no sense at all. It will benefit the whole nation to take this health burden out.

Although some products are being labeled Free, this isn't enough an all out ban is necessary and a movement to have food labeling including GMO. Canada is so in bed with GMO food labeling is doubtful thanks to the Idiots who help keep Harper.

Think you need to do a little more work on these petition sites. Canada is important in this even with Harper unlikely to do anything about labeling, the postal code wont work set for Zips.

Signed and noted. While we're at it, let's just go ahead and ban ALL toxic chemicals! If that puts companies out of business, then so be it. It's time to start protecting people, animals, and the planet. Screw profit!! There will be nothing to spend that money on when Mother Nature's fury (or human stupidity) destroys us...

How few Big Businesses, can we put in the MORALS column?

NEVER, EVER, buy any plastic containers, with the numbers _3_, _6_, or _7_.
The numbers can be found on the bottom of the containers, inside a triangle.
