Rhino poaching (especially across Africa) has reached unprecedented levels; most rhino species across the world are highly endangered and the current poaching pressure has arisen largely as a result of demand for rhino horn in China.

SIGNED! Until the CHINESE are IMPRISONED for PURCHASING AND DISPLAYING IVORY as Status symbols, until they stop buying "aphrodisiacs" made from any animals part because the yKNOW they can be arrested and jailed, this will likely not end until all elephants, rhinos, et al are gone.

#909 - 99,000 + signatures to go ... posted to Twitter Simone, thanks for posting. Prayers for our Rhino's, Ele's ongoing ...
Unfortunately I feel the war against the Black Market - vis-a-vis China being the major buyer is losing ... Gov't officials have to stop 'being on the take' and TAKE RESPONSIBILITY and realize conservation will earn them more dollars boosting their economies and reputations than simply holding their hand out !
This goes for Park Rangers as well !

For every action there is a reaction. According to the law of karma, if we cause pain and suffering to other living beings, we must endure pain and suffering in return, both individually and collectively. We reap what we sow, in this life and the next, for nature has her own justice. No one can escape the law of karma

I feel the solution is you have to ruin the horn so it is worthless for human consumption. Thus, no more killing because the demand is gone. Some substance must be injected into the horn to chemically alter it or some substance that is toxic to humans though non-lethal. And it must be done to EVERY rhino horn.

Signed. China's Communist Party has the power to stop all the activities which are responsible for animal cruelty but they do not do so. Tigers in India and Nepal are killed to provide skin to Han Chinese. Tibetans have mostly given up wearing tiger skin after appeal from Dalai Lama and Tibetans burnt their tiger skins in fire and decided not to buy it again. Rhinos and Elephants are killed in Africa to fulfill the needs of Ivory in China and it is prestige and status symbol for Han Chinese society. In Han tradition medicines were made from animal bones, skins, etc. Therefore few animals like Tiger may also be killed for their bones. Animal rights group in and outside China need to put pressure on CCP. Buddhists teachings are spreading in China, and I think Buddhists monks can also greatly help for animal rights in China and asking people to stay away from products which are obtained by killing animals or torturing them.

Go after the end users and the middlemen. They are the ones making the profit. The poacher sees little money by comparison and this likely for money to feed a family. Put alternatives in place for them.

Gladly Signed. Animal Cruelty Need to stop world wide and a New Law in effect to save the animals. And Long Term jail time for those who break the laws. Animals have feelings like we do and feel pain like we do. They can't speak up for themselves where we can.

These hunter ought to have their toe nails, finger nails and teeth pulled out and feel pain like these animals feel. Even then that wouldn't be enough.
