Despite widespread requests for change, two harmful, cancer-causing chemicals still remain in Johnson's baby shampoo. The chemicals, dioxane and quaternium-15, linger in baby shampoo even though the company makes alternative products.

NOTED, SIGNED & POSTED TO MY FACEBOOK. Disgraceful!!!!!!!!!! But, no surprise - Johnson & Johnson the socalled "family company" [sic] is also infamous for animal testing a.k.a. animal TORTURE & MURDER.

Signed and noted. Doesn't it make sense that if you didn't include those two chemicals that it would make the product cheaper? So in other words, they're even gouging the public with their "natural" shampoo and charging more for it. Hope we all can change their minds with petitions.

There are cruelty-free shampoos that do not contain dangerous chemicals, manufactured by companies that don't test on animals.. Why give money to Johnson & Johnson? Please support ethical companies.

Signed petition. Knowing that their "no more tears" shampoo and other products have deadly chemicals in them and they continue to produce it. They should be fined to the fullest. I know that when I read about this issues some time back, I stopped buying their products, I'm for natural not deadly products. Thanks Simone

Johnson & Johnson doesn't care about harming little babies. All they are concerned about is PROFIT. I would hate to think that I did something like this to anyone, especially babies. But, people like this WILL pay for what they have done to others.

I do not trust the Chinese lettering on the bottle. Where is their shampoo made and with what ingredients?
For now, no more J & J products for me and family. I try to find products that are not tested on animals, but they are hard to come by. Certainly at mainline pharmacies. Health food stores will have a bigger selection but are considerably more expensive.

This is very old news and I've known about the bad ingredients for years. Most baby products are not 'clean'. Just check the labels.

Need more info. A lot of things can cause cancer if used in too large a concentration or too often. For instance, most drinking water has some arsenic (a poison) in it but, unless it reaches a high level, it is basically harmless. I often see studies where mega-doses of chemical X cause cancer in rats however, duplicating those dosages in humans would be near impossible. According to a WHO report, coffee has been linked to bladder cancer. On the other hand, coffee has also been associated with a lower risk of prostate and colon cancer. Shall we call for a ban on coffee also? I haven't seen any studies linking J&J's baby shampoo to cancer and this is something that has been on the market for decades. Besides, J&J says they are phasing out these chemicals, just not quick enough for some people.

Not to menion the fact that it's tested on innocent animals. There are plenty of cruelty free natural products out there. People need to stop supporting this company. Vote with your dollars. Noted and signed.

If you remember a few years ago ,the Chinese manufacturers who were responsible for the death of Chinese babies with their baby formulas,so why would you ever trust them ,I only buy Australian -where I can and not with -some exports added ,money is all they care about ,Johnson and Johnson should be ashamed they are adding these cancer causing additives to baby shampoo ,when there are 2 versions ,and the more expensive is free of them ,but they make more money from the cheaper version which contains the cancer causing additives, not even little babies are safe from -greed.

l am quite amazed that this company is still being supported and that people actually believe that these products are safe'.
l am grateful for the information l received over 20 years ago regarding the chemicals used in Johnson's products and that neither of my children were subjected to them.
Tell everyone you can and make companies like this take responsibility for what they are putting in their products, the best way we can effect change is to not buy things that are made with toxic ingredients. And to think this stuff is used on Babies STILL!

Amazing my family and I used it for years my whole childhood. And I have no ill effects from this product nor does my brother or anyone else I know who used it regularly.

I guess it was good enough for us back then but not now.........EVERYTHING or PRODUCT has something that could hurt you in it... Even the water you drink or the fruit from the grocery..
