Please do not punish Lug and Marley, the two German Shepherd dogs owned by Ingrid Sacha, for doing exactly what humans have not only relied upon our canine companions to do for centuries, but also bred them to do - protect us and our homes from threats

The neighbour of the these two german shepherds went onto their property and into the house where the owner wasnt even home! Lug and Marley naturally bit her, as she was a intruder and being protective of heir homsindce their owner wasnt there And the neighbour hasnt even been charged with this and now they are calling for the dogs to be destroyed.

Signed, Tweeted, invitations to friends sent. >^..^< Poor babies. Kill, kill and kill is all anyone wants to do with our animals. Atrocious. They protected their home and should be praised, not killed!

Would you do the same thing if you felt like you were in danger and that is the only thing these two dogs were doing and now you want to punish them for protecting what was theirs but yet you want to be a heartless tar thumping low down non educated person and punish these two innocent sweet angels for protecting their home and their humans

why would this even need a petition when these dogs only did what any dog or human would do in its home protect it and why is the woman who entered the home without permission not being charge with trespass??
life has value beyond measure
Peace and Love

Signed, noted and shared. Thanks for posting this Simone.

We had a very similar situation occur when an acquaintance entered our home when we were not there. Our dog bit the person, who had no business in our house at all and who then quickly left; without ever providing a satisfactory explanation as to why he had entered our home in our absence. The person later tried to have the court euthanize canine companion, but that didn't proceed because the person knew we had a dog and had not been invited and was therefore trespassing. Lug and Marley should be praised for doing exactly what it is in their nature to do as territorial mammals that live in communities and protect their own and for what is one of the many reasons we have dogs.

It is outrageous to blame the dogs! The neighbor should be charged with trespassing, and the dogs deserve praise for defending their home.

Noted and Signed! This is a clear case of the neighbor being at fault not the dogs! It is absolutely ludicrous and beyond reason that she acted so foolhardy especially knowing there were dogs on the property! It's not as if she didn't know they were there. Of course, if this neighbor had intruded on the people and these people thought she was a burglar or intruder, then it would be okay even if they had shot her... probably! It's remarkable that we accept people shooting an intruder for this kind of behavior but when dogs are just doing what they are bred for or acting in a protective manner as they should, then a court wants to put them down! How would the dogs know the intentions of this lady? This court sounds like they can't reason with any logic. Now, why doesn't that surprise me!

Outrageous, since when does the law protect acts of trespassing! Signed!

“Animals are God's creatures, not human property, nor utilities, nor resources, nor commodities, but precious beings in God's sight…Christians whose eyes are fixed on the awfulness of crucifixion are in a special position to understand the awfulness of innocent suffering. The Cross of Christ is God's absolute identification with the weak, the powerless, and the vulnerable, but most of all with unprotected, undefended, innocent suffering.”— Reverend Andrew Linzey
