Every year, Rajo Sankranti (a mass festival in Odisha, India) is a feast day for the villagers of Srirampur and its neighboring villages under the Pattamundai police limit, where hundreds of animals are killed for the Deity Maa Ramchandi, Srirampur

Fantastic News! I hope Nepal follows next in banning the live sacrifice of so many animals every year and the horrific torture of goats at the Khokana Festival! Thanks to Jilla Pashubali Pratirodha Mancha, and the animal welfare organization, (APOWA) in stopping this terrible loss of life and traumatizing so many children! Bless them forever and thank you Simone for posting this great news!
