This must be one of the most idiotic policies to emerge in recent years. Since when do animal 'normally' eat cooked and pre-prepared food. Only since their association with humans. Left in the wild, dogs go feral and will eat whatever they can get their jaws around and paws upon whether it be cooked or raw. We all know that raw food, carefully selected and prepared will benefit thousands of animals.
For goodness sakes........AVMA has gone crazy.

Well...ummm...if the food is coming from factory farmed animals- it must be cooked to kill the diseases that could also kill a human. If it it free range and organic- that is a different matter.

Eating a wild rabbit is very different than eating a diseased cow from a factory. Our food supply isnt what it was 1000 years ago.

Cats and dogs can get salmonella, ecoli, and other food poisonings just as easily as humans- and it is sometimes fatal.
