Over the past decade, authorities and environmentalists have been working together to resurface and rejuvenate the Saw Mill River in Yonkers, New York. The result has been spectacular: a clean river and a park construction in the works.

some good environmental news.I used to drive my daughter to school in/pick her up from college in NJ and actually got lost around the signs for Saw Mill. I almost always ended up going some cockamamie way plus I had to do this for 4 years so I remember Saw mill well. I can't remember if I ever saw the river but I am glad it is back to its healthy self.
