How can anyone subject a living animal to such an existence? Alone, afraid, in pain and despair. It is beyond nightmarish, and the authorities should forcibly remove this horribly abused elephant from his present confinement and allow him to go to a sanctuary where he can have company, space, light, and will no longer be hurt or abused any more. I am heartbroken over this. It's just horrific.

Please contact Dr Patangrao shripatrao kadam directly yourself. He is the state Forest Minister who Paul Macartney has written to. .I have personally sent an email to him this morning. I pleaded with him to use his powers to free this elephant and get him taken toa place of safety. I have learned that a place has been found for him at the elephant sanctuary in Kamataka, but Dr Kadam is dithering, he needs our encouragement..
I shall be emailing him every day until this poor creature is rescued.
You can email him by going to www.webindia123.com and clicking on his name
or by going to the website of the Maharashtra government at www.sarkaritel.com/states/council _of_ministers.php and again clicking on his name.
Please do it.
