An innocent dog named Rocket has been held for four months in an undisclosed location away from his owners, all because of a claim that he was a loose dog. During a storm in Rocket's home country of Australia, part of his fence was destroyed.

What is it about human beings that make us so obstinate in our drive to kill other living creatures? Or, as governmental agents, be so rigid & draconian in our self-important posturing, keeping innocent animals imprisoned under harsh conditions, separated from their loving owners? Where does the hatred for both the animals & our fellow human beings come from, that it runs so deep? No compassion OR common sense for Lennox in Belfast, & now none, it seems, for Rocket in Australia. How terribly sad.

What is wrong with people? Is it better to add another dog to the already busting at the seams shelter system? Perhaps these bastards holding the dog hostage think he should just be killed? This is unbelievable.

''SIGNED''....thanks Simone. Not again...come on people, leave these Pit Bull dogs alone. Rocket didn't do anything wrong. Because of a storm, the fence was damaged, Rocket came around the front of the house and waited for his owner to come home. He wan't hurting anybody. Rocket should be returned to his home and not killed. Let's not have another Lennox story. People...leave these Pit Bulls AONE, they are NOT bad dogs. God Bless you Rocket, hope you are returned home to your owners, SOON!!!!

signed and noted....yet another Lennox story AGAIN!!!! What the hell, Rocket was on his owners front porch, not doing anything wrong....may the person that made the call have many days of hardship and suffering....there was indeed no reason to make a call. The dog did nothing wrong....God bless you Rocket....may you be returned back to your owners...my prayers are with the family and Rocket.....there is no reason for discrimination....we can't do it to humans but we can do it to dogs.....REALLY????????????????????

Signed. With all the efforts of dog lovers worldwide we couldn't save Lennox of Belfast. Now we have to do it all over again. Poor Rocked, another victim of bureaucracy. He has done nothing wrong, a DNA test proved he is not a pitbull, he is kept in a secred location away from his owners that he trusted. I live in Melbourne Australia in the Eastern suburbs, Cardinia Shire is not far away from were I live and I am ashamed that one of our local councils acted in this way. There has been a pitbull mania here for a while. Several people were injured by neglected pitbulls and recently a toddler was killed by one. Any dog can get vicious if neglected or mistreated, but it is the responsibility of the owner of a dog to make sure to give proper training and teach strict disciplin. I sincerely hope that Rocket will be returned to his owners with a big appology from the Cardinia Shire Council instead of blowing more tax payer's money.

He's innocent and HAS a family!
What part don't they understand?!
We have so many homeless animals and these idiots don't realize that this particular dog that has done nothing wrong and has a beautiful, loving home should be returned to keep living the wonderful life he's had until now!

Let Rocket go back to his family, he wasn't a loose dog. Dogs are extremely loyal to their owners, not only is Rocket heart broken, so is his family. Do the right thing and bring them back together again.
