So has animal testing to do with tea? Animal testing for such things does not even give an accurate analogy for research.

Lipton tea is imported from overseas and is actually somewhat stale by the time it reaches store shelves. I prefer the remarkably fresh flavor of American Classic Tea, grown in the U.S.'s only tea garden, The Charleston Tea Plantation.

I heard about this a few months ago and I am done buying lipton products. I buy Red Rose tea bags and any brand of iced tea that isn't lipton.

Signed and noted. Didn't this news come out a year or so ago? Seems like I signed petitions some time ago. Lipton tea is pathetic, anyway. I used to buy it years ago because it was cheap (often buy one, get one). I've gone back to the tea of my childhood, Tetley, for workday tea, and good Earl Grey for days off, when I have time to enjoy it. And organic green tea every day!

There is absolutely no excuse for harming aor killing animals. Lipton needs to come up with a way to test their products without harming or killing an animals. (Cost effectiveness of doing the tests on animals is no excuse.)
