Plastic bags are ruining our environment. They make our world dirty and they are not biodegradeable, therefore ruining our environment forever. Plastic bags often end up in the ocean causing hundreds of thousands of marine life deaths.

if you do get plastic bags instead of throwing them out or recycling them fill them with garbage you collect from outdoors, then throw them out.

I only wish this would happen. Governor R. Scott only cares about big business.

Noted & signed. TY,Simone! If Florida wants to keep it's tourist flow, it had better keep the beaches & water clean & clear. This only makes good business sense as well as addressing ecological concerns. Who would want to play in this sewage muck?

we need to stop the production of all products made with plastic the planet can not revive itself from the damage it is all causing in our earth.there has to be a better way to dipose of all of it and there needs to be a policy put in place to dispose of it if you buy it.

Petition signed. I would of thought that all states were going to be done with these plastic bags by now. They were saying years ago, that the stores were going to start charging for them, and that never happened. Like always, all talk, not action. Which ticks me off when it has to do with helping the envrionment or other important issues. Thanks Simone
