A zoo in Germany has refused to help two polar bear cubs who were rejected by their mother and are now believed to have been eaten by her. So if zoos won't help to save the lives of animals, what are they for? The time when visitors to British zoos

Good article ...good comments attached to the article and should be also read...Zoos are important and preserve.

Zoo's to me are a death sentence for any animal...for do they ever get to leave???? No they end up dying there....animals should stay in the wild. Not cooped up in exhibits that cant even give them a proper natural habitat.
