A man who admitted he killed his pit bull by setting the animal on fire has been sentenced to two years in prison. Derick Phanord pleaded guilty last November to charges that he tethered the dog to a tree, doused him with gasoline and used a cigarette

I am disappointed he only got two years in prison, not enough, no where near enough- I remember Maximus all the time, remember the torture this scum inflicted on him.

this man is evil, and society isnt any better for only giving him 2 years in jail. It makes me sick

i remembered reading the story on maximus awhile back. I'm glad they got the guy. but I'm disappointed to his sentence.... it needs to be way longer. like 5 to 10 years.
