Your demonstrations, e-mails, telephone calls, letters, and faxes forced charges to be brought against this egregious puppy killer. You stood up and spoke out for this innocent and defenseless little dog.

Please continue to act for Karley by taking the following actions:

1 - Contact Riverside County District Attorney, Rod Pacheco and his Assistant, Chuck Hughes to thank them for arresting and charging Johnson and to demand that he be punished to the maximum extent granted by law.

Riverside County District Attorney Rod Pacheco, 4075 Main St.; Riverside, CA 92501, ph: 951-955-5431 or 951-955-5400; fax: 951-955-5682
*Maria Driver, D.A. Secretary: mwdriver@rivcoda.org

Riverside County Assistant District Attorney Chuck Hughes, Western Division, 4075 Main St., Riverside, CA 92501. ph: 951-955-5400, 951-955-5431, Fax: 951-358-5017.

2 - Contact Los Angeles Fire Chief, P. Michael Freeman to demand that Johnson be fired and rendered unable to collect his retirement pension of $180,000 a year. This is extremely time-sensitive, as we believe he is due to retire in January 2009.

Los Angeles Fire Chief P. Michael Freeman, 1320 North Eastern Ave.; Los Angeles, CA 90063. ph: 323-881-2411; fax: 323-265-9948, email: info@fire.lacounty.gov .

3 - Attend a Demo this Saturday to thank the D.A. for arresting and filing felony animal cruelty charges against Los Angeles Assistant Fire Chief Glynn Johnson, and to call for a conviction and stiff penalties:

Where: Riverside County District Attorney, 4075 Main St., Riverside, CA 92501

When: Thursday, December 18, 2008, 11 A.M. to 1 P.M.

Meeting Spot: 4100 Main, at the courthouse right across the street.

For further information about this demo, Contact: Lindy Greene, lindygreene@roadrunner.com , (818) 445-6711.

(This is not an IDA-organized demo - we are sharing this information at the request of Los Angeles activists.)

I will write and call. This bastard needs some of his own, and maybe in jail he will get what he so very much deserves.

Thanks for the information, and noted.

my quesiton is WHY did it take OUR interference with Faxes & Phone Calls to FORCE charges to be brought against this "less than an Animal" person?? I won't even call him a "MAN". Am contacting all your parties. At least THAT seems to work in favor of the poor, defenseless. Maybe someone should delve into his "Past" performance and "personal" relationships. What does he do to Women & Children?? They are defenselss too and he seems to have a MAJOR problem!

I'm astounded; I don't understand how someone in his line of work could do something like this. He must be some kind of sadist, a sick individual who should pay severely for what he did to this poor little dog. I have a dog and could never imagine doing, or allowing someone to do something like this to her and get away with it. I'm taking action. Thank you, Simone.

fyi, this is the Fireman's Pledge. Will be interesting to see what the FIRE CHIEF does on this, or if it's the good ol' boys club.

A Fireman's Pledge

I promise concern for others.
A willingness to help all those in need.
I promise courage -
courage to face and conquer my fears.
Courage to share and endure the ordeal of those who need me.
I promise strength -
strength of heart to bear
whatever burdens might be placed upon me.
Strength of body to deliver to safety
all those placed within my care.
I promise the wisdom to lead,
the compassion to comfort,
and the love to serve unselfishly whenever I am called.

No animal should be put through the agony of abuse and pain that this poor creature suffered. This man should endure the stiffest punishment and take away his benefits as he cheated this poor dog from having the life he deserved and depended on from those that Christ commanded to take care of NOT abuse or kill!

noted, I will send emails to get this bastard what he deserves! Someone suggested that the DA, office look into his background...sounds like a good idea, I bet there is a history of cruelty there somewhere.

I signed,
my letter.

Thank you very much for arresting and charging Assistant Fire Chief Glynn Johnson with felony animal cruelty for the beating of 6-month-old puppy Karley to death. Itís discussing and sickening to find out that any man would be such a coward and a monster, specially somebody that we are made to believe to be honorable and caring human being an Assistant Fire Chief. I hope that he be punished to the maximum extent granted by law.
