Another great cartoon Tom! Mrs. Wrongmey is the perfect Mormon wife. Does not work, raises tons of kids (that step closer to heaven you know), keeps her mouth shut, Mr. Wrongmey is ALWAYS right, and I could go on and on. Our daughter-in-law's parents are Mormon (she, thankfully, is not). He is a church Elder and their church comes before all, even to helping their kids out, they give their 10% first before everything and although a perfectly nice woman, the wife is as described above, to a tee. Actually most if not all Mormon women are exactly alike, kinda like the Stepford wives.

Capitol Column — Baby Bush sure does have the plague! It is interesting though, the GOP are still "friendly" with Cheney who is just as big a dolt! Both of them should be tried for violations of the UN Convention on Torture and for crimes against humanity. To me, they are no different than Milosevic and some of the others.
As Baby Bush said "… 8 years was awesome, and uh I was famous and I was powerful . . .". So there you have it, Baby Bush summing up his years as president of the US. That is all it is to these dolts — fame and power! Nothing more than an ego feed. A chance to call the shots and get their own way. Nothing about service to the nation, to the people.

Michael Moore — I am afraid he is right, although I hope not. Look how we see ancient Rome through the lense of human history. Amen to thoughts and prayers for the slain and victims and their friends and family.

Cartoon — I caught the tone of voice in an interview with ABC and my first reaction was "you sanctimonious bitch!" but then I though, why should I expect anything different. She, like Rmoney is out of touch with reality because they live in their own rarified little world.

Two out of touch candidates and both arrogant as all get out. This is the most horrible selection we've had in my lfetime. I'll vote for neither as it makes no difference who wins the Presidency. We need to work hard to get a balance in Congress that favors centrist thinking.

Lynn, I'm curious as to why a Canadian is cheering on OUR election? I'd think you have enough problems with your own so called leadership. If Bush/Cheney are open to prosecution as you wish then so is Obama. At least Bush was respected by our military!

Yes John, Canada has its own problems in Stephen Harper, our Prime Minister, and his harlots, the Conservative Party. But Harper is a Baby Bush wannabe. What better way to understand the clown than to observe his idol and the effect he has had on the nation! Second, Canada shares North America with the US and Mexico, and the US has considerable economic and political power, for better or worse. What better way to understand the dynamics than by learning more and participating in my own way! Third, why are you so concerned about my interest in the election? Have a struck a nerve? Is it my honesty that offends you? I simply call them as I see them. My leanings in my own country are further left than your mainstream US politics go. Sometimes a view from the outside is helpful to clarify a view. But don't worry, I can't vote even though my mother was an American.

John, as I understand, Mr Obama is popular with some of the military as was Baby Bush with SOME of the military. It all depends on who you ask. However, I would think that a president that took the country into an illegal war thereby subjecting the military to horrendous losses, is not as popular as you might think.

As to the prosecution of Bush and Cheney for violation of the UN Convention on Torture, Mr Harper had an obligation under the Convention to arrest these two aledged criminals but did not. That was wrong. The allegations stand. That is part of the reason that Cheney has said he doesn't feel safe in Canada.

Ann Romney was recently sued by a woman who bought her horse who found out after purchasing the animal for about $120,000, that it had an injured foot which was hidden by the dosage of painkillers during the time it was purchased. It was found that the amount of painkiller in the animal's system was about 3 times too much than was normal to give a horse. It was a bad business deal, and as the owner, she is the one who is responsible, not the representatives she claimed were at fault.

"These people," the Romneys, are bad for the economy. They are unfit to lead this nation. "These people," the Romneys, should be investigated and properly back- charged for the taxes they have evaded in overseas shelters, money that they owe this country so full of the little, insignificant, folk.
