Thanks TC - you are absolutely right. Love the item from the Daily Kos - Republicans steal and lie with impunity - but they should never swear!! (Shock, horror!).

I'm rather glad Willard made you go to sleep - all the Republicans (and their Conservative allies) make my bp soar with their lies - I have to turn the sound off! (Praise the Lord for the 'mute' button!).

Puzzle 4:01 This could easily be the scene outside my windows!

MoveOn Good question! Since blue states typically give more to the national kitty than they get, red states would be destitute without that infusion. How is it that Republican policies would benefit ALL the states? They wouldn't they'd only benefit the 1% and corporations. Everyone else would see their standard of living and their rights slide into the gutter.

New York Times Romney trips over his own lies and fabrications as the campaign progresses. He doesn't know when or how to shut his mouth. Ryan is so unwaveringly ideological, like a bull in a china shop, that by letting him loose could very well sink their campaign. He has already shown by his speech at the AARP that he is not a favoured son. People are seeing his extremism. The conservatives' lust for power could very well sink their ship.

Daily Kos I seem to recall, based on a news item from a number of years ago, that here in BC, if not across Canada, removing or defacing another's political advertising such as billboards or lawn signs is illegal and subject to fines etc. It is considered as theft of another's property even though it is on public land and providing it is properly placed. I was able to find the placement rules but not the 'what if' consequences. Here, most such vandalism is done at night when one is likely not to be found out. Is there not such regulation in Tennessee or the US?

I find this contemptible and the mark of a weak candidate. Why should Floyd (incumbent running against Eaton) be so concerned about his opponent's signs when he is, in his own words, so loved by his constituents? And why should Floyd ask McCormick to do what he himself is not willing to do? I suspect that Eaton is a strong challenger to Floyd who is a strong opponent to LGBT rights, among other things. I watched a video of Eaton protesting a Boehner/Floyd meeting as part of the OWS in Chatanooga and he seems to have his head screwed on right. On top of stealing the signs, McCormick was very uncivil which is unacceptable. Yup, Republican election commandments Thou shalt steal!

Cartoon I heard an interesting little snippet that had Rmoney not gone to manage the 2002 Olympics, and not become governor but rather stayed at Bain Capital, he would be worth well over $1 billion instead of $258 million. To a greed meister like him, that has to hurt, wet dreams or not!

Get out the Vote!!!!!

Vote Democratic!!!!! Vote Obama/Biden 2012!!!!!
